Queen Bee ~ Nani Moon Mead
Stephanie Krieger, President and owner of Nani Moon Mead LLC was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She received her undergraduate degree in Marine Science, Biology and Chemistry from University of Miami, Florida. During her education she recognized the importance of resource conservation and it's effects on both land, freshwater and marine environments. She sought a career path that would preserve the environmental integrity of the island’s diverse agricultural lands and native forests. Stephanie worked with the National Tropical Botanical Garden for 12 years as a docent, educator and contractual researcher which gave her the experience she has today to fully understand the delicate nature of Hawaii's island ecosystems.
During eight years of research and development, Stephanie worked at some of Kauai's finest restaurants, learning from industry leaders about wine appreciation. Combining her love of the flavor profiles of some of the world's most unique wines, with her passion for supporting Hawaii's diverse agricultural community, Stephanie created the Nani Moon Mead Collection. She is assisted by a dedicated group of Queen Bees, Drones, and most importantly, her Chief Executive Bear, Hunter.

Nani Moon Mead logo and label images
The Nani Moon Mead logo and label images are created by graphic artist Shastin Snyder. Seeking an original design look for Nani Moon Mead, Stephanie announced a contest through the Kauai Society of the Arts for a logo and label images. Shastin submitted the winning logo and the first label image, Pineapple Guava Sunset. Since then Shastin, has become the resident graphic artist, and has created all of the label images. Each image has been hand painted and tells a story, reflecting the botanicals of composition. Shastin is available for freelance design. For more information, please visit www.shastingrace.com.
The Nani Moon Signature Mosaic
The Crescent Moon Mosaic that appears on the face of the bamboo bar is a vision Stephanie created after a trip to the east coast in the fall of 2008. During her short stay in New Orleans, the new crescent moon hovered in the sky at dusk creating the perfect backdrop to the historic french quarter. She also noticed the crescent moon and star adorned on the sides of the New Orleans police cars. A few days later, small round mirrors on the walls of a club in New York reflected little bits of light, creating an intriguing effect.
Upon return to Kaua'i, Stephanie combined all of the inspiring elements into a vision that is now the centerpiece of the Nani Moon Mead tasting bar.
